Welcome
River Foursquare Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them to help others come to know Jesus.
WE EXIST TO HELP PEOPLE GROW CLOSER TO GOD, LIVE AND ACT LIKE JESUS AND TRAIN THEM TO HELP OTHERS DO THE SAME.
This is called Discipleship.
River Foursquare has a non-traditional church model. We meet weekly in smaller community groups, where we listen to a teaching from Bible, talk about how to apply it to our lives, and pray for one another. All of our communities gather once a month in an All Community Gathering, where we celebrate what God is doing in our lives. We offer both Virtual and In Person Community Groups at various times of the week, so that you can be a part, even if you have a non-traditional schedule.
In our experience, people are discipled best in these smaller communities where they are accepted as they are and can build supportive friendships that challenge them to be their best selves.

What To Expect
A typical Community Connection Group will last about 60 minutes. You will watch a teaching that includes discussion questions for your Community to talk about together. Depending on your Community, you may have a time of live worship together.
I'm a new Believer or Seeking
If you’ve recently made the decision to follow Christ for the rest of your life or have been walking with Jesus for a while and just don’t know what to do next, we can help! We would love to come alongside you as you continue growing in relationship with Christ.
I am seeking to know more about GOd
One of the oldest questions humankind has been asking is, “How can I know God?” The question is a valid one. What is He like? What can we do to please Him? How can we get to Heaven? If we work hard enough to be a good enough person will He accept us then? If we do enough religious activities to get His attention, will that do it?
Fortunately for us, the answer is surprisingly simple. The “Gospel” that the Bible talks about literally means, “the Good News,” and the news is good indeed!
If you have questions, we’d love to help you in your discovery process. Please contact us.

I am ready to become a Christian
The Bible says there is one way to Heaven. Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father but by me.” (John 14:6) This "one way" is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and follow God’s plans for your life, which are laid out in the Bible.
Good works cannot save you. Faith in Jesus alone can save you.
“For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

To give your life to Jesus, Here is what you must do
1. Admit that you are a sinner and that you need God’s help.
- “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)
- “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)
- “If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (1 John 1:10)
- Jesus said: “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:5)
- “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
- “But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
- “If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
- “For with the heart (core being) man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10)
- “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
- Dear God, I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to change and turn from my sin. I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior, and give you control over my life from now on.
- “But as many as received him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:” (John 1:12)
- “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” [new life begins]. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
If you have given your life to Jesus then you should
1. Read your Bible every day to get to know Christ better. Read the Holy Bible, the guide and tool to kindness and the right path to eternal life. If you encounter questions, resolve them by asking someone at your church to help you with them.
- “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (aligning and applying) the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
- “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalms 119:105)
- “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” (Matthew 21:22)
- “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6)
- “However, they did not all heed the good news; for [the prophet] Isaiah says, ‘LORD, WHO HAS
- So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17)
- “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” (Matthew 28:19)
- “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25)
- “All [Holy] scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2 Timothy 3:16)
- “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)
- “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” (1 Corinthians 9:16)
- “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16)
